The key to saltwater filtration system is the marine aquarium must have an efficient biological, chemical and mechanical filtration. Water quality is the key to a successful marine experience. For myself I wanted to try the luxury of the All Flo Freedom Filter, so I went for it! What I truthfully liked the best was the simplicity of the Freedom Filter. I have been using the Freedom Filter for 6 months now in my 125 Gal SW fish/reef combo and I have been extremely satisfied with the results. My readings on nitrites, nitrates and ammonia are almost non existent. I have also switched some of my maintenance accounts to the Freedom Filter and their tanks are doing absolutely wonderful. My cleaning times has been reduced to half of what it was since all I have to do is swap filter pads and empty the protein skimmer. That takes less than a minute and I can concentrate on my other duties. I was not too sure to try the new "Freedom Filter", without a real test, not just some letter that stated "how great this filter was". So, when you called, I told you of my doubts and we arranged a test with one of your filters with my own store aquariums. When the unit arrived I told my manager that we were going to test the unit in one the units that had been set up for a few months and everything was perfect.
So, when I came in the next day he had already changed out the filters and placed the "Freedom Filter" in its place. However, he had placed the filter in the aquarium without inoculating the new filter with any active bacteria. Not one of his shinning hours.
I told him to monitor the ammonia counts twice a day; I was expecting a big jump. The ammonia never moved off the mark. The filter never skipped a beat and took over like it had been in the tank from the very beginning.
Corals that I thought were dying came back to life and began to flourish in the aquarium. If you are looking for something easy for your customers to use and will be easy for them to install, then I would highly recommend the new "Freedom Filter".

We purchased 2 Freedom Filters to test as an alternative to an overflow/sump filter setups. After running one of them in one of our show tanks for about 2 months we are very pleased. The other filter was bought by one of our customers and they are also very pleased. The best feature is the fact that the unit is internal and eliminates the possibility of water overflowing onto the floor which makes it very desirable for use where that can be a problem.

I specialize in marine animals, from large reef systems to fish only and even one octopus tank.
I try to have hard to find rare fish and coral.
